    We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead field operations and drive project

    success from mobilization through closeout.

    Position Overview

    The Superintendent is responsible for the on-site leadership, coordination, safety, quality, and schedule

    performance of assigned commercial construction projects. This individual will serve as the primary field

    representative of Satchel Construction and must be capable of managing projects independently while

    maintaining strong communication with the Project Manager and ownership team.

    We are seeking a candidate with 5–10+ years of commercial superintendent experience, with a General

    Contractor, who is comfortable managing multiple trades and fast-paced project environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and manage all daily jobsite operations with a safety first approach

    Oversee subcontractors to ensure proper sequencing, quality, and schedule adherence

    Interpret and execute construction drawings and specifications with precision

    Maintain project schedule and proactively address delays or conflicts

    Coordinate with Project Manager on materials procurement and delivery

    Ensure compliance with all contract documents and current drawing revisions

    Enforce jobsite safety standards and maintain safe working conditions

    Maintain daily logs documenting site activity, manpower, weather, and progress

    Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate weekly look-ahead schedules

    Maintain high standards of workmanship and enforce quality control processes

    Ensure jobsite organization, cleanliness, and professional presentation

    Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout procedures

    Represent the company professionally with owners, architects, and inspectors

    Qualifications

    5+ years experience as a Commercial Superintendent with a General Contractor

    Proven ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously

    Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and sequencing

    Experience running projects independently from start to finish

    Strong leadership and decision-making skills

    Highly organized and detail-oriented

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Comfortable using construction management software and digital tools

    Technical Proficiency

    Procore (preferred)

    Gmail / Google Workspace

    Apple products (iPad, iPhone)

    Ability to manage digital documentation and field reporting

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions

    Frequently lift up to 65 pounds unassisted

    Ability to climb, kneel, bend, and carry materials as required

    Ability to push/pull equipment using proper safety methods
