Position Title Supercomputer Facilitator Department Chemistry Appointment Term Academic Year (August - May) FLSA Non-Exempt Job Summary

Dr. Woodford, Professor of Chemistry, is seeking a student employee to fulfill the role of Supercomputer Facilitator; assisting with the activities a responsibilities defined within the CIMUSE grant.

Essential Duties

• To assist with training new users of the supercomputer
• To maintain the CIMUSE MWSU server
• To assist with Dr. Woodford in implementing the CIMUSE grant

Required Qualifications

• MWSU Student
• Degree Seeking
• At least an overall 2.0 GPA
• Enrolled at least part-time
• Must have advanced knowledge in computer operations
• Senior standing in a STEM field

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of the Linux environment, bash, shell scripting, coding in common programming languages.

Physical Demands Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Additional Demands Location where duties are to be performed
