    The opportunity

    Southern New Hampshire is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Non-Profit Management Assistant for our partner organization UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Goffstown, NH. This is an exiting opportunity for a student to have direct hands-on learning experiences serving as an assistant to the Executive Director. The student will be involved in many aspects of the organizations functions. The opportunity to represent the organization at a variety of events, creating connections with the community, and experience the vitality of that connections for nonprofit growth and sustainability. Students will learn first-hand the challenges, success and rewards of working at a nonprofit organization.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist with marketing, HR, PR, special events, risk management, insurance, program evaluation and development, finance short and long term strategic planning and development

    Minimum Qualifications

    • ​Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
    • Work study part of financial aid package
    • Students with work study may be prioritized
    • Reliable transportation
    • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
    • Main professionalism
    • Possess a strong work ethic
    • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Interest in nonprofit/small business administration

    Work Schedule
    Flexible scheduling between Monday through Friday

    Compensation

    The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
