    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Graduate Assistant

    Stipend: $6000 per/semester

    Job Description: The Academic Learning & Tutoring Center (ALTC) is seeking a Learning Studio Coordinator for the 2026-27 academic year. Fun work environment, flexible schedule, 10-15 hours per week in the Learning Studio located in the Howard-Tilton Memorial Library on the Uptown Campus. Graduate student preferred; previous experience in retail or service industry would be relevant. This role requires working closely with staff, faculty, and students to keep the Learning Studio a welcoming, easily accessible space and to provide administrative support for the various programs and learning communities that use the ALTC. This would be an ideal role for someone interested in developing their project and program management skills. Primary responsibilities would include:

    • Manage the reception desk team: create a schedule for an 8-10-member team, train new members, monitor the group chat, and ensure daily duties are carried out and that a professional environment is maintained throughout the center.
    • Coordinate the Math Center Teaching Assistant schedule and work with the Faculty and TAs to optimize the space and learning resources available.
    • Monitor Calendly reservations and peer mentor drop-in schedules for 2 podcast/testing rooms. One is a one-touch podcast studio with equipment.
    • Maintain the physical environment in the Learning Studio.
