Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a Structural Designer with up to 4 years of experience to join our Orlando, Florida office. Experience in wireless/telecommunications structures is a plus but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain experience designing a wide variety of structures while working alongside experienced structural engineers.
What You’ll Do
Design, analyze, and detail structural systems using steel, masonry, concrete, and wood
Develop construction documents and models using AutoCAD, RISA-3D and related tools
Provide support in preparation of proposals, reports, and design concepts
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects across Florida
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
Up to 4 years of structural engineering or design experience (wireless/telecommunications experience a plus)
E.I.T. certification or ability to obtain
Knowledge of structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and wood structures
Experience or coursework with the RISA Suite (RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection)
Experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with tnxTower, Enercalc, L-Pile, and Excel is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
