The role

Gridsight’s U.S. business has an ambitious regional growth plan. We are looking for a Strategic Projects Lead to turn the most important regional opportunities and constraints into measurable commercial and customer outcomes.

This is a hands-on regional operating role designed to create leverage for U.S. regional leadership by turning regional priorities into executed outcomes. You will report jointly to U.S. regional leadership, the Head of Sales, the Head of Partnerships and the Head of Delivery, and can be based in San Francisco or Austin. Your portfolio will be set against the U.S. plan: where we need to win, which customers and partners matter, and what must improve across sales and delivery to scale the region.

Your mandate

Own the highest-leverage strategic projects

• Own a small portfolio of the U.S. region’s most important commercial and customer initiatives, from clearly framed problem to measurable result.
• Turn regional leadership priorities into clear workstreams, owners, milestones, risks and decision points, then maintain momentum through delivery.
• Structure ambiguous regional problems from first principles, form hypotheses, find the evidence and implement the answer.
• Incubate new regional motions, prove them in market and transition them cleanly to the right Sales, Partnerships or Delivery owner.

Advance U.S. commercial and customer outcomes

• Develop focused plans for priority U.S. segments and lighthouse accounts, grounded in customer evidence and regional economics.
• Help Sales advance complex enterprise opportunities by resolving cross-functional blockers, strengthening commercial cases and driving clear next steps.
• Turn partnerships into measurable U.S. market access, credibility, qualified pipeline or delivery capacity.
• Help priority U.S. customers move from commercial commitment to realized value quickly, reliably and with a model that scales.
• Turn wins, losses and customer patterns into concrete choices about where the U.S. team should focus, experiment or stop.

Connect Sales, Partnerships and Delivery

• Create one shared view of regional priorities, commitments, owners and dependencies across Sales, Partnerships and Delivery.
• Connect the teams before commitments are made so scope, responsibilities and customer outcomes are clear.
• Step into regional delivery risks and customer escalations, find the constraint and stay accountable until the path is stable.
• Use customer and implementation evidence to improve qualification, partner strategy, commercial decisions and expansion plans.
• Turn successful customer journeys into repeatable handoffs, playbooks and proof that functional teams can own.

Build the operating system for repeatable execution

• Create a focused regional cadence around pipeline, lighthouse accounts, partner performance, delivery risk and expansion.
• Build the dashboards and analysis that give U.S. regional leadership one trusted view of performance and the decisions required.
• Run cross-functional reviews that end with a decision, owner and next action—not another status update.
• Use automation and AI to remove recurring regional work and give Sales, Partnerships and Delivery more time with customers.

What success looks like

• Lighthouse customers are won, successfully delivered and converted into credible proof for the U.S. market.
• Qualified pipeline, win rate and sales velocity improve in the U.S. segments where we have chosen to focus.
• Strategic partners generate measurable pipeline, market access or delivery leverage.
• Time-to-value and execution predictability improve across priority U.S. customer deployments.
• U.S. regional leadership has more leverage because priority projects are fully owned, decisions move faster and successful work becomes playbooks operated by the right team.

• You have strong commercial judgment and can connect enterprise sales, partnerships, delivery economics and customer value.
• You can lead complex work across functions without formal authority and make trade-offs clear when leaders disagree.
• Experience in a high-growth startup, strategy and operations, consulting, enterprise go-to-market, partnerships or customer delivery is useful; evidence of ownership and regional execution matters more than a conventional pedigree.
