JSG is recruiting a Strategic Procurement Analyst II (Associate), you’ll drive strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives across a global supplier network—partnering with suppliers of electronic components and with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) producing sub-assemblies and finished products.
This role is ideal for a procurement professional who thrives in complex, regulated manufacturing environments and brings strong analytical thinking, project leadership, and stakeholder influence. You’ll lead cross-functional programs from sourcing strategy through execution—protecting supply, improving cost of goods, and strengthening supplier performance through disciplined governance, KPIs, and continuous improvement.

Pay $40.59hour

Required Skills
  • Strategic sourcing & procurement expertise (including sourcing events, bids/RFPs, and supplier selection/qualification)
  • Supplier relationship management and supplier engagement across global teams and time zones
  • Contract negotiation and contract management (including monitoring compliance to pricing, delivery, and quality requirements)
  • Project management with the ability to lead cross-functional procurement and manufacturing optimization initiatives end-to-end
  • Supplier performance management including defining, tracking, and improving KPIs/SLAs (e.g., OTIF) and leading QBRs
  • Risk mitigation and supply continuity planning, including building contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Engineering, QA, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, and global stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills—able to translate complex supply chain data into clear recommendations for senior leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a proactive, inquisitive approach
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (Electronics/High-Tech, Medical Devices, Biotech, or Pharmaceuticals)
  • Category experience with electronic components, PCBs, sensors, or microchips
  • Familiarity with structured supplier segmentation frameworks (e.g., Kraljic Matrix)
  • Expertise in TCO modeling, category management, and global market intelligence for electronics supply markets
  • Experience supporting manufacturing transfers involving internal teams and external CMOs
  • Proficiency with SAPSAP Ariba, and analytics/visualization tools like Power BI or advanced Excel for dashboarding
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Preferred fields: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Electrical/Industrial Engineering, or a related technical/scientific discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement
  • At least 3 years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing industry (Electronics/High-Tech, Medical Devices, Biotech, or Pharmaceuticals)
Other Requirements
  • Hybrid work schedule: expected 2–3 days onsite in Rahway, New Jersey (USA)
  • Standard business hours aligned to the US EDT time zone
  • Comfortable working with international suppliers/CMOs across time zones and cultures
