Job Summary: The Strategic Communications Coordinator (SCC) provides day-to-day support for Cinnaire’s Strategic Communications initiatives, helping the team produce and coordinate communications materials, campaigns and activities across print, digital, web, media, social and event channels. The SCC assists with content development, project coordination and execution, helping move communications projects from concept through completion. Working collaboratively with the Strategic Communications lead, this position manages multiple assignments and deadlines while helping ensure Cinnaire’s communications are accurate, consistent, timely and aligned with the organization’s brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Strategic Communications (SC) team in coordinating communications needs and deliverables across Cinnaire’s business lines.
  2. Coordinate and provide day-to-day support for Strategic Communications projects, initiatives and activities, helping ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  3. Using established InDesign templates and brand standards, produce print and digital materials, including advertisements, signage, one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations and case studies.
  4. Coordinate and maintain inventory of collateral, tradeshow assets and marketing materials for conferences and events, including preparation and distribution of materials as needed.
  5. Make and coordinate updates to Cinnaire’s website in support of departmental and organizational communications needs.
  6. Assist with the development, distribution and compilation of internal and external surveys.
  7. Produce newsletters, announcements, event invitations and other communications materials.
  8. Maintain Cinnaire’s media distribution platform; distribute press releases and media advisories; and track and report media coverage.
  9. Draft project case studies, staff profiles and other content for review and approval.
  10. Maintain the Marketing Resources library to ensure current materials are organized, updated and readily accessible.
  11. Draft social media posts and develop supporting graphics to execute Cinnaire’s social media plan and content calendar.
  12. Track and compile monthly and year-over-year marketing KPIs for inclusion in the department dashboard and reporting.
  13. Support the SVP, Strategic Communications in the planning, coordination and on-site facilitation of events, including receptions, grand openings, groundbreakings and resident events.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, portfolio, and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of two years’ working experience in marketing or graphic design development
  • Strong editorial and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint as well as WordPress, Photoshop, InDesign, Constant Contact, Survey Monkey
  • Demonstrable experience in coordinating integrated marketing deliverables, such as collateral material, digital announcements and press releases
  • Working knowledge of web and marketing analytics tools

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications

Supervisory Relationship: None

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.

Travel Required:

  • 5% travel
  • Must be able to work in-office one day per week.
