    Job Description:

    The Strategic Accounts Manager is responsible for the development and growth of a designated client base through strategic sales activity. This includes developing consultative relationships with strategic and national accounts. Additionally, the Strategic Accounts Manager will work with the Director of Sales in budget planning and will provide management for designated accounts across all regions. Strategic Accounts will include key integrators, distributors, and central station resell partners.

    Responsibilities:

    • Meet and exceed all revenue goals and sales targets
    • Develop business with designated prospects, securing new business through a combination of outbound telephone calls, online communications, email campaigns and in-person visits
    • Maintain customer database including relevant business activity and communication
    • Utilize SalesForce for scheduling calls/tasks with customers
    • Effectively present and demonstrate products and services to Strategic Accounts
    • Manage and maintain corporate relationships with assigned Strategic Accounts
    • Develop Strategic Account procedures and messaging and communicate across all regions
    • Instruct sales team members on procedures and selling processes with assigned Strategic Accounts
    • Maintain consistent pipeline of existing and prospective business
    • Build relationships with customers through professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
    • Manage a travel expense budget effectively
    • Travel to tradeshow events and customer sites
    • Coordinate shipping/tracking of trade show materials to/from events. Includes handling of materials
    • Communicate timely and effectively with management regarding business opportunity progress
    • Achieve an annual sales quota and provide reasonably accurate sales forecasts to management
    • Provide sales, service, budget guidance
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Required
    • 5+ years related sales & customer support experience - Required
    • 5+ years of experience with CRM systems, Salesforce - Required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel - Required
    • Experienced with conducting sales webinars to prospective customers - Required
    • Proven success in developing new business while managing and growing existing client sales - Required
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills - Required
    • Proven negotiation and presentation skills - Required
    • 3 - 5 years of experience in the security and M2M/Telematics industries or a technical sales field - Required
    • Ability to travel 30%+ - Required

    Compensation

    Employee Type: Salaried

    Currency: USD

    Salary Minimum: 75,000

    Salary Maximum: 90,000

    Incentive: No
