The Strategic Account Specialist leads revenue growth by developing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and driving high performance execution across the sales team. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating high value contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. Collaborates closely with the inside sales manager, outside sales team, marketing, operations, and leadership to align sales initiatives with company goals. Success in this role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to build long term partnerships that expand market presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on leads generated from trade shows, Lunch & Learns, website inquiries, distributors, architects, designers, and outside sales activities
  • Coordinate sample requests, quotes, pricing inquiries, and project follow-up
  • Maintain accurate customer records, activities, and opportunities moving through the sales pipeline
  • Proactively track down decision makers and keep opportunities moving through the sales pipeline
  • Re-engage stalled opportunities and maintain consistent customer communication
  • Support architects, designers, distributors, sign companies, and end users throughout the sales process
  • Take ownership of opportunities transitioned from outside sales and drive them to close
  • Provide Weekly updates on pipeline activity, open opportunities, and next steps

Qualifications:

  • Prior window film industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in architectural products, signs & graphics, wide-format printing, or building products a plus
  • Strong CRM experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-up discipline
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills
  • Persistent, results-oriented, and comfortable asking for the order Proven ability to advance opportunities and close business
