Description

Staffing Coordinator 
Location: Raleigh, NC 27607 (onsite/in-office) 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM or 4:00 PM (20-25 hours per week) 
Employment Type: Part-Time 
Pay Rate: $15-$18/hour – DOE

The Staffing Coordinator supports recruiting, HR administration, customer service, and business development efforts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, solving problems, staying organized, and contributing to a growing business. 

You'll help identify great candidates, support employees throughout the hiring process, assist with office administration, and reach out to prospective clients to introduce Atlantic Staffing Consultants and schedule appointments.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition from the Staffing Coordinator:

  • Source candidates through online job boards and recruiting platforms
  • Review resumes and identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct phone interviews and applicant screenings
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and clients
  • Verify employment history and references
  • Follow up with applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with onboarding new employees
  • Maintain accurate candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Contact employees after their first day and during assignments to ensure success

HR & Administrative Support from the Staffing Coordinator:

  • Prepare hiring paperwork and onboarding documents
  • Maintain employee files and confidential records
  • Process employment verifications
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in applicants
  • Respond to candidate and employee questions
  • Update databases and company records
  • Assist with office projects and administrative tasks
  • Support payroll and other HR-related activities as needed

Business Development & Client Support from the Staffing Coordinator: 

  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients
  • Research local businesses and identify potential staffing opportunities
  • Schedule appointments for our sales team
  • Follow up with current and prospective clients
  • Maintain CRM records and detailed call notes
  • Assist with recruiting and marketing campaigns
  • Help strengthen relationships with existing clients through consistent communication

Required Qualifications for the Staffing Coordinator: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and confident telephone presence
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable making outbound business calls
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications for the Staffing Coordinator:

  • Recruiting or staffing experience
  • Human Resources experience
  • Sales, customer service, or business development experience
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or CRM software
  • Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)

  • Help support the company's continued growth by identifying quality candidates and new business opportunities
