Position Overview

A leading nonprofit, Magnet-designated pediatric hospital and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center is seeking an experienced CICU Nurse Manager to provide leadership for its specialized pediatric cardiac intensive care team.

This role oversees night-shift clinical operations, staffing, quality, employee development, and patient care within a growing cardiac program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CICU operations and patient care
• Lead hiring, training, coaching, evaluations, and staff development
• Manage staffing plans, payroll, productivity, and departmental budgets
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac teams and hospital leadership
• Drive quality, safety, LEAN, and process improvement initiatives
• Monitor patient/family experience and service excellence
• Analyze departmental performance and operational data
• Support staff engagement, retention, and career development

Requirements

• BSN required
• Active RN license or eligibility
• 3+ years of cardiac nursing leadership experience in a hospital setting
• Strong critical care leadership and operational experience
• Experience managing staffing, performance, and quality outcomes
