Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization's accounting operations. This role performs day‑to‑day accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out responsibilities in compliance with company policies, work procedures, and federal, state, and local laws. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and health and safety rules and regulations.
Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger transactions
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end account reconciliations
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
Serve as the lead for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Oversee end‑to‑end AP processing, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and timely payments
Lead AR processes including billing, cash application, collections, and customer account reconciliations
Resolve vendor and customer inquiries and discrepancies
Monitor AP and AR aging reports and recommend improvements
Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analysis for management
Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations
Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Support continuous process improvements within the accounting function
Maintain a positive and productive relationship with co-workers and others with whom the position may have contact.
Perform tasks with safety in mind for self and others. Use personal protective equipment as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The compensation range for this role is $78,000 - $92,000 per year. Compensation is commensurate with level of knowledge, education, skills, and experience applicable to the position.
