    Position Overview: The Staff Accountant will play a key role in our finance team, responsible for various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This role involves assisting with financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and providing support for financial analysis and audits.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1.* Assist with financial reporting, including preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
    2.* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
    3.* Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
    4.* Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
    5.* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
    6.* Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording and reporting of financial transactions.
    7.* Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
    8.* Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
    9.* Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned by management.
    Qualifications:
    •* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 2+ of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
    •* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. 
    •* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
    •* Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
    •* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    •* Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with payroll processing regulations is a plus.
    •* CPA or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
