Staff Accountant - Full Time

Under general supervision, the Staff Accountant contributes to Vinson Halls overall success by actively contributing to the effectiveness, quality, and service standards of the Accounting Department.

This position is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a team, has the ability to multitask, and is interested in learning and supporting all aspects of the accounting cycle.

• Associate Degree in Accounting or related field.
• A minimum of six months to one-year experience in Accounting or other relevant experience that could be applied to an accounting office.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to catch and correct own mistakes.
• Comfortable learning new software and various systems.
• Some familiarity with general ledger / accounting software systems.
• Experience with Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
