Entry-Level Staff Accountant — Automotive Dealership

Key Responsibilities- Support daily accounting operations across multiple departments
- Process AP/AR, bank deposits, and account reconciliations
- Assist with schedule maintenance and monthly financial statement preparation
- Review deal jackets for accuracy and compliance
- Work closely with the Controller and Office Manager to learn dealership accounting workflows
- Help maintain accurate records for inventory, flooring, and manufacturer statements
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with dealership DMS systems is a plus (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn automotive-specific accounting processes
