Sr. Specialist, Media

The Senior Specialist, Media will support the planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of PetSmart’s integrated media campaigns across Enterprise Media and Search, and the Affiliate program. Familiarity with performance media and affiliate tools, such as: i.e., Google Ads, SA360, Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, Meta, Affiliate platforms, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar tools.

The Senior Specialist, Media will support the planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of PetSmart’s integrated media campaigns across Enterprise Media and Search, and the Affiliate program. This role will partner closely with the Sr. Manager, Integrated Media to translate business priorities into effective media plans that drive business results. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working across multiple workstreams with agencies and cross-functional partners. Bring strong interpersonal and collaborative skills along with the ability to prioritize work effectively and support simultaneous projects. Will report to the Sr. Manager, Media within PetSmart’s Media Omni-Channel Marketing team.

 

What You'll Do:

• Support analysis of Enterprise Media and Search, and Affiliate performance to identify trends and recommendations to help improve return and business outcomes.
• Partner with the Sr. Manager, Integrated Media to plan and execute campaigns that support stores and eComm, customer acquisition, retention, and key business priorities.
• Coordinate with media agencies and partners to support campaign setup, creative and tagging requirements, budget pacing, invoice tracking, and optimization.
• Help with recurring reporting and performance updates across assigned channels, clearly communicating results, pacing, risks, and next steps.
• Stay current on media, search and affiliate marketing trends, including new platforms, technologies, and partnership opportunities that may improve performance.
• Collaborate with Customer Analytics, Digital, Brand, and other cross-functional teams to support forecasting, reporting and testing.
• Bring a curious mindset that’s always looking for new media opportunities to evolve programs.

What You Need:  

• 1+ years of experience in media planning, performance marketing, search & shopping, affiliate, or related digital marketing disciplines; previous agency or media buying experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of marketing fundamentals and KPIs, including spend, conversion, ROAS, CAC.
• Experience managing campaign workstreams, agency or partner deliverables, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with performance media and affiliate tools, such as:
• • i.e., Google Ads, SA360, Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, Meta, Affiliate platforms, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar tools.
• Exposure with web analytics, performance measurement, or marketing effectiveness tools (i.e., Google Analytics, MMM partners, Neustar or LiveRamp and others) is a plus.
