Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-volume, full-stack web applications that support Manheim’s strategic business objectives. The Senior Software Engineer will work within a cross-functional Agile team and contribute across backend services, frontend interfaces, and system integrations while helping drive technical excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-quality full-stack web applications
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to meet sprint and business goals
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
Contribute to system architecture, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Build strong partnerships with business and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong experience with Java technologies (Spring Boot, Maven, testing frameworks)
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with React or similar frameworks
Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and authentication protocols
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated testing
Cloud experience (AWS preferred) including deployment, infrastructure, and security
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development
