Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-volume, full-stack web applications that support Manheim’s strategic business objectives. The Senior Software Engineer will work within a cross-functional Agile team and contribute across backend services, frontend interfaces, and system integrations while helping drive technical excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-quality full-stack web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to meet sprint and business goals
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to system architecture, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong partnerships with business and technical stakeholders
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong experience with Java technologies (Spring Boot, Maven, testing frameworks)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with React or similar frameworks
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and authentication protocols
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated testing
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred) including deployment, infrastructure, and security
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with AI tools is a plus
