About Our Client

Our client is a commercial general contractor with a robust portfolio of commercial and healthcare construction projects. This company's bread and butter has historically been complex remodels, but they are looking for someone with ground-up experience to help expand their delivery capability. This person would be an instrumental part of growing a new ground-up division for the company, and would be afforded all the resources and growth opportunity to do so. They would have a direct line to leadership, ownership of all negotiated projects, a projected annual bonus between $15K-25K, WFH flexibility and 100% coverage of health insurance premiums.

Job Description

  • Manage construction projects from preconstruction phase through closeout
  • Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification
  • Assure all materials orders are executed
  • Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines
  • Managing schedule and costs against budget
  • Work alongside and communicate with sub contractors to move projects forward
  • Maintain and organize field documents (Drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • Participate in company training sessions
  • Assure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Construction field - ideally 7-10 years
  • Experience managing commercial remodel, build-out, or tenant improvement projects
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
  • Experience managing self perform trades preferred
  • AutoDesk or Procore experience preferred
  • Estimating experience preferred
  • Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
  • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing projects
  • Strong management ability
