POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a digitally minded finance leader who combines strategic business partnership, financial expertise, analytical rigor, and technology-enabled innovation to help shape the future of the Plasma Power business and the Finance function at Advanced Energy through data-driven insights and recommendations.
The Senior Manager, Finance serves as a trusted advisor to Plasma Power leadership and drives planning, forecasting, performance management, decision support, portfolio analysis, and profitable growth initiatives.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable independently translating complex financial, commercial, and operational data into clear recommendations. They will challenge assumptions, apply critical thought, create compelling visualizations, and responsibly experiment with automation and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, decision quality, and Finance effectiveness in a growing company.

EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of progressive finance experience, including meaningful experience in FP&A, business unit finance, commercial finance, manufacturing finance, cost management, or related roles.
Experience partnering with senior business leaders and supporting:
Strategic planning
Annual operating plans
Forecasting
Performance management
Executive analysis
Cross-functional profitability initiatives
Process improvement initiatives
Preferred experience supporting:
Product lines
Global business units
Semiconductor environments
Power electronics environments
High-tech organizations
Industrial manufacturing organizations
Advanced manufacturing organizations
Experience with pricing, portfolio analysis, cost management, capital investment analysis, and business decision support.

COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $150,000 to $200,000 per year.
