Job Description
Seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience in manufacturing process development, continuous improvement, and PLM systems. The role requires hands-on manufacturing engineering experience along with strong expertise in Windchill PLM and product data/process management.

Sr. Manufacturing Engineer
Location: North Haven, CT

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes, layouts, tooling, equipment, machining, material handling, and assembly.
• Analyze manufacturing issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Apply SPC, process capability, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manage product data and engineering change processes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Configure, implement, and support Windchill PLM, including workflows, attributes, lifecycles, and system integrations.
• Support PLM integrations with ERP, CAD, and MES systems.
• Support Agile PLM processes and product data governance.
• Develop fabrication procedures, tooling requirements, and equipment adaptations.
• Support process testing, inspections, validation, and process effectiveness activities.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Windchill PLM; PLM SME-level expertise preferred.
• Experience configuring PLM applications, workflows, lifecycles, attributes, and integrations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and quality systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements.
• Agile PLM experience preferred.
• Practical project management experience.
