    Description As a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Sponsored Products finance organization, you will be a key member of the Sponsored Products advertising team. You will work side by side with product and finance leaders to develop business strategies, financial models and analytical insights that influence business decisions. As a finance partner, you will have the opportunity to work with large advertising data sets to influence the long-term evolution of our products and develop insights into various aspects of our business. About the team Sponsored Products (SP) Advertising is one of the largest and fast growing business segments within Amazon Advertising. The SPB Finance team partners with this business to provide data analytics and reporting, support product initiative launches and performance tracking, drive operational improvements, and deep dive into business performance to provide insights that can enable growth. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience - 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience - Six Sigma Black Belt - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence - Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer Preferred Qualifications - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA, or CPA - Knowledge of Tableau - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
