    Description

    Job : Sr. Data Engineer
    Locations : Austin, Texas (Local preferred)

    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for building and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines to support YETI's Business needs.
    • Building solutions that enable data scientists to perform advanced analytics and machine learning tasks.
    • Own the system architecture and infrastructure of our Google Could Data warehouse and other related GCP services.
    • Build and assist BI developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.

    Qualifications & Attributes:
    • At least 6+ years relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
    • Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, such as Big Query, Dataflow, Composer, Pub/Sub, etc.
    • Expert in writing, analyzing, and tuning complex SQL queries
    • Extensive experience with Python programming
    • Familiarity with data quality and governance principles and best practices
    • Experience with Apigee or Mulesoft for API integration and management is a plus
    • Good understanding of Object-Oriented programming.
    • Willing to work with new tools and learn new programming languages
    • Strong problem-solving ability and a positive attitude.
    • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
    • Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript & Pyspark are a huge plus
    • Experience with Tableau or other BI tools for data visualization and dashboarding
    • Position based in Austin, TX at our headquarters office located off Southwest Parkway (must relocate if not local to Austin).
