We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr. CPT Regulatory & Communications Manager (Hybrid) on our Health Solutions team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
This role will serve as a senior regulatory lead responsible for developing and executing the CPT communications program and providing operational leadership for implementation of clinical AI coding initiatives. Partner with AMA leadership, the CPT Editorial Panel, and external stakeholders to support the implementation of CPT priorities related to emerging clinical AI technologies. Leads cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement to support CPT communications and clinical AI coding initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
Health care related Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or a communications-related field preferred.
7+ years of experience, including specialized healthcare policy, regulatory affairs, coding, reimbursement experience, or related fields, with demonstrated experience translating complex technical or policy topics into communications, thought leadership, or stakeholder-facing content.
General knowledge of clinical coding standards such as Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) or ICD-10 required; CPT expertise highly preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of emerging healthcare technologies, particularly clinical AI, and the coding, coverage, and payment issues they raise; ability to quickly learn emerging clinical AI and related healthcare technologies.
Superior writing, research, and analytical skills, including the ability to conceptualize complex issues and translate them into clear communications for executive, regulatory, industry, and stakeholder audiences.
Demonstrated ability to integrate subject matter expertise with communications and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with digital publishing platforms, LLM/AI tools, and content or media monitoring preferred.
Some travel required.

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $119,074 - $157,855. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
