About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marine Underwriter / Director to drive profitable growth across our marine portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for underwriting strategy, distribution expansion, and portfolio performance across key marine lines.
You will operate with broad underwriting authority, lead critical broker relationships, influence product innovation, and play a pivotal role in scaling a specialized marine business within a growth-focused organization.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or relevant insurance designation (CPCU, ARM, etc. preferred)
5+ years of commercial marine underwriting experience (or closely related field)
Strong technical expertise across:
Marine General Liability
Hull & P&I
Excess/Umbrella
Marine Property / Inland Marine
Proven success building broker relationships and driving production
Deep understanding of regional and/or national marine insurance markets
Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities
Excellent communication and executive-level relationship skills
Self-starter with a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset

Salary Description
$150,000-$200,000 + Discretionary Bonus
