Summary
The Sr. Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for leading market analytics, channel and account strategies, and pricing and promotional programs that drive profitable sales growth and market share expansion. This role owns market and performance analytics, synthesizing internal and external data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
This position develops both short- and long-term strategies, translates them into executable plans, and ensures delivery of measurable business results. Acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external customers, this role drives alignment, optimizes performance, and identifies opportunities to win in the market.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Leadership
Harmonize sales and marketing plans, ensuring budgets align with company objectives
Develop and execute global channel strategies
Lead cross-functional coordination for customer line reviews
Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Product to improve profitability
Define and oversee pricing strategies
Leverage market analytics and insights to inform strategic decisions
Market Analytics and Insights
Own market, channel, and customer analytics across multiple data sources
Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive pricing, promotion, & assortment
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance
Develop dashboards and reporting tools
Lead regular business reviews with insights and recommendations
Embed analytics into cross-functional decision-making
Merchant Mindset
Optimize inventory health and turns by strategically managing pricing, promotions, and clearance activities
Establish marketing and sales programs to achieve financial goals
Lead and execute annual promotional calendars
Implement best practices aligned to partner requirements
Manage pricing to maximize profitability
Lead market research and competitive insights to win at each account
Product Lifecycle Planning
Manage promotional and markdown activity
Own excess and obsolete processes and pricing
Ensure new product introductions are priced correctly
Performance Analytics & Insights
Develop dashboards delivering actionable insights
Analyze promotional effectiveness and ROI
Monitor competitive and market dynamics
Communicate insights and recommendations to leadership
Establish reporting cadence for optimization
Product Launch Excellence
Collaborate to identify channel gaps and opportunities
Manage NPD process to align product readiness to channel implementation needs
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
Foster a culture of accountability, speed, and continuous improvement
Align team goals with company revenue objectives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with eCommerce, sales, marketing, IT, and finance teams
Align initiatives with inventory, promotions, and retail strategies

Education
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, business, or a related field
Preferred:
MBA or advanced degree
Certifications in pricing, analytics, or other related disciplines & platforms

Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth through analytics
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy and action
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience in consumer products, durable goods, or eCommerce-driven businesses preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytics tools
