Sr. Business Analyst

This consultant will play a critical role in partnering with business and technology stakeholders to understand current operations, define future business needs, and develop the requirements necessary to guide solution selection and implementation. • Familiarity with Field Service Management platforms such as Astea, ServiceMax, Salesforce Field Service, Oracle Field Service, IFS, or similar solutions.

Role Summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst Consultant to support a large scale Field Service Management platform replacement initiative. This consultant will play a critical role in partnering with business and technology stakeholders to understand current operations, define future business needs, and develop the requirements necessary to guide solution selection and implementation.

This individual will lead discovery efforts, facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, analyze complex business processes, and document functional and technical requirements. The consultant will serve as a key contributor throughout the assessment and planning phases, helping the organization make informed decisions regarding its future field service technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions across business and technical teams

• Document current state business processes, workflows, and operational procedures

• Gather, analyze, prioritize, and validate business and functional requirements

• Identify process gaps, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement

• Assess existing Field Service Management platform capabilities, configurations, and integrations

• Document enterprise application integrations and business dependencies

• Facilitate requirements review sessions and stakeholder sign off activities

• Develop executive presentations, recommendations, business analysis deliverables, and requirements documentation

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting enterprise scale technology initiatives

• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and business process analysis

• Experience leading workshops, interviews, and cross functional discovery sessions

• Proven ability to document workflows, process maps, user stories, and business requirements

• Experience evaluating enterprise applications, integrations, and system capabilities

• Familiarity with Field Service Management platforms such as Astea, ServiceMax, Salesforce Field Service, Oracle Field Service, IFS, or similar solutions

• Experience supporting application modernization, replacement, or digital transformation initiatives

• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and documentation skills

• Field Service Management environments supporting dispatch, scheduling, and mobile workforce operations

• Asset management, inventory management, warehouse operations, or service delivery functions

• Vendor evaluation, software selection, procurement, or RFP activities
