Job Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst, Oracle Fusion - Advanced Inventory plays a key role in supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Oracle Fusion Inventory and warehouse management processes across the organization. This position serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions that support critical operational and supply chain activities.
The incumbent leverages strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Inventory processes, combined with business analysis capabilities and technical understanding of integrations, reporting, and system configuration. This role partners cross-functionally to improve inventory operations, resolve complex business challenges, and support ongoing system enhancements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as the functional subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Advanced Inventory processes, including:
Inventory Management
Inventory Organizations, Subinventories, and Locators
Transaction Management (receipts, issues, transfers)
Lot and Serial Control
Cycle Counting and Physical Inventory
Inventory Valuation and Costing Integration
Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current-state processes, and design future-state solutions that improve operational efficiency, controls, and user experience.
Configures Oracle Fusion applications in alignment with business requirements and system best practices.
Supports Oracle Fusion Inventory capabilities including:
Multi-organization and global inventory models
Consignment inventory
Min-max planning and replenishment
Inventory accounting setups
Collaborates cross-functionally to support integration with:
Procurement
Order Management
Manufacturing
Cost Management
Financials (GL / SLA)
Translates business requirements into functional specifications and supports technical solution delivery.
Supports end-to-end testing activities including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
Supports data conversion, cutover planning, deployment readiness, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Partners with technical teams supporting:
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
REST / SOAP APIs
FBDI / ADFdi data loads
Reviews and validates technical design documents to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Supports inventory-related reporting and analytics using Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher.
Troubleshoots system, integration, configuration, accounting, and transactional issues across inventory processes.
Partners with security teams to support appropriate system roles, duties, and data access controls.
Supports Oracle quarterly releases, patches, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintains system documentation including configurations, process flows, test scripts, and validation records as required.
Performs root cause analysis and implements sustainable corrective actions.
Ensures solutions align with internal controls, compliance requirements, and established governance standards.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience supporting supply chain, warehouse, or inventory systems.
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory, Warehouse, or related supply chain modules.
Experience supporting at least one full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation.
Strong understanding of inventory impacts to costing, accounting, and financial reporting.
Deep functional knowledge of inventory operations, controls, and warehouse processes.
Experience gathering business requirements, documenting process flows, and developing functional specifications.
Experience working with enterprise integrations across Supply Chain, Finance, and related systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications in Inventory Management, SCM Cloud, or related modules.
Experience supporting global, multi-organization, or multi-currency environments.
Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with WMS, manufacturing, ERP, or other enterprise platforms.
Experience in SOX-controlled, FDA-regulated, medical device, or other highly regulated environments.
Consulting or systems integrator experience.
Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Language requirements
Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment and requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other digital devices is required. This role may require standing for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking through facilities.
