Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Benefits Manager to lead the strategy and administration of U.S. employee benefits programs. This role oversees health and welfare, retirement, wellness, leave, vendor management, compliance, and benefits communications. The position partners with HR and business leaders to deliver competitive, cost-effective, and compliant programs.

This position is based in San Jose, CA and is not eligible for remote work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the company's U.S. benefits strategy and programs.
  • Oversee health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, renewals, and performance.
  • Manage benefits budgets, forecasting, utilization, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Section 125, and other applicable regulations.
  • Monitor legislative changes and recommend program updates.
  • Lead open enrollment, employee communications, and benefits education.
  • Develop benefits metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Benchmark programs and recommend improvements to competitiveness and employee value.
  • Lead and develop benefits team members, as applicable.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 8+ years of progressive employee benefits experience.
  • 5+ years of benefits leadership or strategic program ownership.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with benefits design, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a large manufacturing, technology, or multinational company.
  • Experience with ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, or FMLASource.
  • CEBS certification

Salary Range

$120,000- $170,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
