About the Role
Precor is seeking a dynamic Sr. Account Manager to develop and grow strategic customer relationships across key accounts. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing complex customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the sales lifecycle.
The Sr. Account Manager will develop and execute account strategies, identify growth opportunities, coordinate cross-functional activities, and serve as a trusted partner to customers. This individual will work closely with Sales leadership and internal teams to ensure seamless execution, strong customer engagement, and long-term business success.
Success in this role requires strong sales and relationship management skills, strategic thinking, project coordination, effective communication, and a customer-first mindset.
Base Salary: $90,000 to $105,000
Total compensation for this position will also include commission.
This is a remote role supporting the Central California, Nevada, and Utah territory. Candidates must reside within one of these states and have convenient access to a major airport to support travel requirements of 50% or more.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and strategic accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, expectations, and issue resolution.
- Foster long-term partnerships that drive mutual business success.
- Represent Precor at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
Strategy Development
- Develop account plans, customer profiles, and growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Partner with Sales leadership on forecasting, business planning, and performance goals.
- Present strategic recommendations and account plans to internal and external stakeholders.
Sales & Commercial Execution
- Manage the full customer lifecycle from opportunity development through project execution.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, and sales presentations.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to support customer projects, including facility refurbishments and installations.
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasts, and customer data in Salesforce CRM.
- Provide timely reporting on pipeline activity, sales performance, and customer updates.
- Communicate Precor programs, products, and solutions effectively to customers.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and freight program initiatives in partnership with Sales leadership.
- Travel approximately 50% to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
- Perform occasional light physical activity, including lifting products or parts as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to build and influence relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience delivering customer-focused solutions and resolving client issues effectively.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and other business systems.
- Ability to analyze business opportunities, develop action plans, and drive results.
- Adaptability and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of commercial fitness industry trends and business practices preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the commercial fitness industry.
- Experience managing large or strategic key accounts.
The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
