The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking to hire an experienced Sponsor Funded Professional - Program Manager to provide support to the Department of Computer Science.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position will support the DoD Center within the Department of Computer Science.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Center Support:

  • Assist with managing the daily financial and business operations.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders; monitor and respond to center-specific emails, student requests, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate and oversee social media activities, newsletter, and website updates.
  • Support communication with funding agencies; as well as assist with industry outreach and partnership establishments.
  • Collect and preserve data in the repository in support of center activities.
  • Maintain communication and reporting to the DoD.
  • Coordinate student internship recruitment and fairs.
  • Facilitate and coordinate faculty communications with students conducting research.

Data Collection:

  • Collect and maintain specific data repository in support of the center's participation in various programs, including annual reporting to the DoD.
  • Assist with preparing documentation for the DoD renewal process.
  • Collect student data for RISE students.

Public Relations and Outreach Activities:

  • Prepare information and promotion material for programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee Social Media activities and newsletter.
  • Monitor and moderate Social Media presence.
  • Disseminate information through listserv; organize student-specific activities.

Industry Outreach:

  • Support outreach and communications.
  • Help to establish partnerships with the private sector.
  • Support planning and organizing the annual symposium.
  • Facilitate communications with the advisory board.

SPONSOR FUNDED:

  • This is a regular, full-time position that involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.

Qualifications

:

Minimum Hiring Standards:

  • Master's degree and five years of related experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.
