Special Education Paraprofessional

Woodview Elementary is seeking a part-time special education paraprofessional for the 2026-27 school year. This position reports on a student-day calendar with time off from early June through August. We are looking for a positive, energetic, compassionate, and dedicated individual to join our Special Education team.

Special education paraprofessionals have a range of responsibilities working with students with special needs. These responsibilities can include, but are not limited to: assisting students with academic and behavioral support, assisting personal hygiene care, helping with recess and lunch, eating, feeding, dressing, toileting and other basic care skills and tasks as necessary, assisting teachers in reinforcing skills as demonstrated by physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech/language therapist, escorting to and from buses, assisting with any special medical needs, and providing documentation of completion. Specialized and ongoing training is provided by the district.
