Special Education Teacher responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs in a 36-week assignment in Maricopa, Arizona. This role supports diverse learners, enhances classroom inclusion, and contributes to the educational success of the school community. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Use diverse instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs effectively.
Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support student success.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and participate in team meetings.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent credential.
Valid State Teaching Certification in Special Education or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
Strong classroom management skills.
Strong individualized instruction skills.
Ability to work in a school setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Adaptability to diverse student needs.
