SOUS CHEF

The Finch is looking for an experienced, passionate, and motivated Sous Chef to join our opening culinary leadership team at our new Rockwall location! We're seeking a hands-on leader who takes pride in food quality, consistency, and developing a strong kitchen team while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily kitchen operations and lead the culinary team.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards.
• Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and food cost controls.
• Coordinate with restaurant leadership to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Qualifications:

• Previous Sous Chef or kitchen leadership experience required.
• Strong culinary skills and experience in high-volume restaurants.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Manager certification preferred.
