What You Will Do

• Design and own end-to-end technical architectures for complex AI-powered software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging the gap between product requirements and engineering execution.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and research teams to translate business and research goals into actionable technical solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and driving modernization efforts.
• Define architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines across the software engineering organization.
• Lead technical discovery and scoping sessions, providing clear and well-documented solution proposals.
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI infrastructure, cloud architecture, and multimodal systems to inform forward-looking design decisions.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5–10 years of experience in a solutions architect, software architect, or senior software engineering role with demonstrated architectural ownership.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, distributed software systems in production environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern infrastructure patterns.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with multimodal systems, generative AI tooling, or large-scale model serving is a strong asset.

Preferred

• Familiarity with SQL, ETL tools (Fivetran, Merge, Workato), and data integration processes.
• Experience working in or alongside AI, machine learning, or research-driven engineering organizations.

Compensation and Benefits
