    Description

    Role: Solution Architect – ServiceNow IRM (GRC/Risk & Compliance)
    Location: Chicago, IL

    Role Responsibilities
    This role is a combination of Solution Architecture and Senior Engineering.
    The person will:
    • Design solutions within the ServiceNow IRM platform.
    • Translate business requirements into technical architecture.
    • Recommend out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities before pursuing customization.
    • Participate in technical delivery when needed.
    • Provide architectural guidance while remaining hands-on enough to support engineering efforts.
    • Collaborate with global engineering teams.

      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least ten years' experience in systems architecture and development methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experiences.
      • At least 10 years of experience developing reusable services in an enterprise environment.
      • Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
      • Strong experience with building data pipelines & data processing architectures using Azure Cloud & NoSQL technologies
      • In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).
      • Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
      • Efficient communication skills.
      • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

      Nice to Haves:
      • Experience building data warehouse architecture
      • Tech experience with Snowflake or Redshift
