Software Engineer (Java Microservices)

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Software Engineer (Java Microservices) for their Charlotte, NC location.

Responsibilities:

• This role is primarily focused on backend Java development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade microservices and backend systems
• Build scalable solutions for high-volume data processing
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Create and maintain automated testing solutions
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions

Requirements:

• Top Skills: Java/Spring Boot Microservices, Kafka, Cloud & Test Automation (OpenShift/Kubernetes preferred)
• Years of Experience: 9.00 Years of Experience
• Seeking a senior Software Engineer with strong experience designing and developing enterprise applications, microservices, and high-volume data solutions.
• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot Microservices
• Experience with Kafka messaging platforms
• Solid SQL development experience (3+ years)
• Experience with Cloud technologies and Test Automation
• Knowledge of React
• Experience with enterprise databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• OpenShift and Kubernetes experience
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
