Senior Full Stack Java Developer – SE4
Location: Charlotte, NC (3days on hybrid)
Interview Process: Onsite Interview
Pay Rate: $60-70/hr

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our enterprise technology team in Uptown Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across both backend and frontend development, with an approximately 50% backend / 50% frontend focus.
The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular 16+, and SQL Server, along with experience developing scalable enterprise applications and working within Agile and DevSecOps environments.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong technical ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with development, QA, product, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
  • Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular 16+.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
  • Apply object-oriented design principles and industry-standard design patterns to develop maintainable and scalable solutions.
  • Work with SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, data models, and optimize database performance.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using XML, JSON, REST APIs, JDBC, and JPA.
  • Write comprehensive unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and production issues and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to support functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Java

    • RESTful APIs

    • JPA
    • Unit Testing frameworks
  • 6+ years of hands-on Angular development experience, with strong experience in Angular 16 or higher.
  • Strong experience developing responsive and scalable web applications.
  • 3+ years of SQL Server development experience, including:
    • Complex SQL queries
    • Query optimization
    • Stored procedures
    • Data modeling
  • Proven experience developing and supporting microservices-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within large-scale enterprise or financial-services environments.
  • Prior experience supporting highly regulated or security-sensitive applications.
  • Experience with modern CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
  • Experience with containerization and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices.
  • Experience working with high-volume, highly available enterprise applications.
