Pay Rate: $65.00 to $70.00 per hr.

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to support and maintain the company's wire-processing platform within the Wire Delivery/Transaction System team. This role will work heavily with ACI Worldwide's Money Transfer System (MTS) and, ideally, the Universal Payments Framework (UPF). The team supports vendor-provided ACI software as well as the companies-developed components and transformation layers surrounding the platform. The role combines application support, maintenance development, production troubleshooting, code releases, vulnerability remediation, and platform upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain ACI's MTS and UPF wire-processing platforms.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues across multiple servers and environments.
• Perform maintenance coding and application enhancements.
• Manage code releases through development/lower environments into production.
• Support approximately 4 6 production code releases per year.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and compliance-related development.
• Assist with platform and technology upgrades, including potential Java upgrades.
• Support transformation layers and components surrounding the ACI platform.
• Monitor and maintain application stability and production performance.
• Work with operational teams supporting wire customers and customer-related issues.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues within the wire-processing environment.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to support both legacy MTS and newer UPF technologies.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field Five (5) years of experience
• Hands-on ACI MTS / Money Transfer System experience
• Distributed-side MTS experience
• AIX / Unix experience
• Software engineering/application support background
• Experience managing application/code releases
• ACI UPF / Universal Payments Framework
• Experience with both MTS and UPF
• Linux experience
• Wire, payment, or transaction-processing experience
