Are you ready to join a growing team?
CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client.
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 5 months
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, debug, and support enterprise applications.
- Develop Java/Spring Boot microservices and integrate applications with Oracle databases.
- Perform systems analysis, application design, development, and troubleshooting.
- Create technical specifications, documentation, and test plans.
- Analyze application interfaces, integrations, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with developers, technology teams, business users, and vendors.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support complex projects.
- Identify and implement technology and process improvements.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Independently perform complex systems analysis and application development.
- Lead or coordinate technical activities, project milestones, and delivery.
- Work with senior management, technology teams, business units, and vendors.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
- May lead and coordinate less experienced technical resources on projects.
Education and Experience Required:
- Associate's degree and 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of application development experience.
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Microservices
- Oracle
- Strong systems analysis, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Banking/financial services experience.
- Enterprise application frameworks and system integrations.
- Experience supporting complex, integrated applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
