Software Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a highly technical and experienced individual to join our Industrial System Analytics (ISA) team. The role involves providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team, driving the design and implementation of cloud analytic solutions using GCP tools and techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Proficiency in Python, React, Angular, GCP, GCP Cloud Run, and Java.
• Experience as a Full Stack Developer with at least 4 years in IT and 3 years in development.
• Strong understanding and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including GCS, Cloud Run, and APIGEE.
• Proficient with GitHub for version control and experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Expertise in at least one modern front-end framework: Angular or React.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, and understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
