Job Title: Software Architect – Consultant (14152)
Location: Columbia, SC 29210 Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Interview Process: 1 Round – Onsite
Candidate Location: Current South Carolina Residents Only – No Relocation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure enterprise applications using C#/.NET 10 and Full Stack MVC.
• Develop web, desktop, and console applications, including penetration testing tools.
• Design applications for highly secured, multi-firewall DISA STIG environments.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models, technical specifications, and deployment documentation.
• Perform penetration testing, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation solutions.
• Implement application hardening, data protection, and secure database solutions.
• Develop automated Just-in-Time Provisioning (JITP) for user onboarding and offboarding.
• Support Active Directory programming and enterprise security integrations.
• Apply Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Perform application testing, debugging, code reviews, and UAT support.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, network, and database teams.
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and shared 24/7 on-call support.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience with C# and .NET Development.
• 11+ years of experience with Penetration Testing.
• 10+ years of experience with State Government.
• 11+ years of experience with Full Stack MVC Web Development.
• 11+ years of experience with Secure Database Design and Administration.
• 11+ years of experience with Active Directory Programming.
• 11+ years of experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PCI, NIST, and IRS Publication 1075 security implementations or audits.
• Experience with DISA STIG security implementations.
• Experience with Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• Experience with Vulnerability Remediation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.

Education & Certifications
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred – At Least One:

• Penetration Testing Certification.
• Microsoft/Azure Certification.
• CompTIA Security+.
