Snowflake Platform Engineer(Snowflake Admin + Azure DevOps + Terraform)
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Platform Engineer as part of the Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on Snowflake administration, security, performance optimization, automation, and CI/CD integration within cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Snowflake infrastructure, performance, and security policies (RBAC, encryption) and audit controls.
- Optimize warehouse usage, storage, and query performance.
- Automate platform management using Terraform, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Develop Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with Terraform.
- Ensure cost monitoring, governance, and compliance.
- Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and platform integration with cloud services (Azure and AWS both)
Required Skills:
- 10-13 years of overall data warehouse development/administration experience, with recent 3 years of experience in Snowflake.
- Strong SQL, Python, JavaScript, Terraform, and cloud (Azure/AWS) expertise.
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines or similar technology.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake Architecture including RBAC, cost optimization, and security best practices.
Preferred:
- Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
- Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect Certification
