    Position Summary
    The Site Safety Supervisor ensures a safe working environment on construction sites by implementing and enforcing safety policies, conducting daily inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among all personnel. This role focuses on compliance with OSHA construction standards and project-specific safety requirements.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct daily site safety inspections and document findings.
    • Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
    • Lead daily toolbox talks and safety briefings for crews and subcontractors.
    • Monitor use of PPE and safe operation of equipment.
    • Investigate incidents and near misses; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Maintain accurate safety records and submit reports to project management.
    • Collaborate with site supervisors and contractors to mitigate hazards.
    • Ensure conformance to General Contractor’s Safety Program
    Qualifications
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience.
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
    • Excellent communication and training skills.
    Preferred Certifications
    • OSHA 30-hour Construction
    • First Aid/CPR
    • CSP or CHMM preferred
