Contracts Administrator | Shreveport, LA
Seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support large-scale construction and mission-critical projects. This field/site-based position administers subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring contractual compliance, change management, cost tracking, and accurate project documentation. The role works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and project controls to manage commercial matters and mitigate risk.
- Location: Shreveport, LA
- Work Environment: Site-based/field position supporting active construction projects.
- Travel/Relocation: Local candidates preferred. Relocation assistance may be available, and per diem is available for eligible non-local candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer subcontract agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare and manage subcontract correspondence, notices, change orders, and variation requests.
- Track subcontractor progress, costs, claims, and commercial documentation.
- Review and negotiate subcontract changes, extensions, and closeout packages.
- Support payment application reviews, including progress validation and contract compliance.
- Coordinate with construction, supply chain, and project controls teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and documentation.
- Assist with audits, open-book reviews, and cost validation efforts.
- Support GMP and cost-reimbursable project delivery models.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Law, or a related field.
- 7+ years of contracts, subcontract administration, or commercial management experience on large construction or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, change management, and commercial processes.
- Experience with AIA, ConsensusDocs, or similar construction contract forms preferred.
- Experience supporting GMP and/or cost-reimbursable projects.
- Data center, mission-critical, industrial, or energy project experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
