What You'll Do


As a Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for leading your team and ensuring every shift meets Andy's high standards for quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and operational excellence.


Help Launch Our New Store

• Play a key role in preparing our McAllen location for a successful grand opening.
  
  
• Help train and develop our opening team of associates.
  
  
• Establish strong operational routines and reinforce Andy's standards from day one.
  
  
• Help create a positive, energetic, and team-oriented culture that sets our new store up for success.
  
  

Lead and Develop Your Team

• Lead by example while working alongside your team in daily operations.
  
  
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to deliver their best performance.
  
  
• Remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy shifts.
  
  
• Provide consistent feedback and help team members develop their skills.

Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience

Execute Daily Operations

• Manage opening and closing procedures.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant.
  
  
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational standards are consistently followed.
  
  
• Support efficient shift execution, team communication, and daily store performance.
  
  
• Take ownership of your shift and lead with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
  
  
• Minimum 6 months of management or leadership experience in food service or a related industry.
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
  
• Friendly, enthusiastic, dependable, and positive attitude.
  
  
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  
  
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  
  
• Passion for coaching, training, and developing others.
  
  
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and high operational standards.
  
  
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
  
  
• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, late nights, and some holidays.
  
  
• Consistent employment history and positive professional references.

Physical Requirements


This is an active, hands-on leadership position. Shift Managers must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
  
  
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 55 pounds safely.
  
  
• Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout shifts.
  
  
• Occasionally use ladders, stairs, and ramps.
  
  
• Operate point-of-sale systems and restaurant equipment.
  
  
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members.
  
  
• Perform tasks requiring near and distance vision.
  
  
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.
