Sexual Abuse Litigation Attorney (Texas) — Houston HQ (In Office / Hybrid)We represent survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault nationwide. Our goal is simple: become the national leader in this space.Work Location & TravelThis role is based at our Houston, Texas headquarters with in‑office work required and hybrid flexibility depending on case needs and performance. Travel may be required for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.What You Will Own (Litigation)Lead Texas sexual abuse/sexual assault civil matters from intake through resolutionBuild case plans: liability, damages, discovery, depositions, expert strategy, and settlement postureDraft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement demandsTake and defend depositions; manage experts and key witnesses as neededDrive case timelines and maintain trial readiness, even when settlement is likelyCommunicate with clients with empathy, boundaries, and strict confidentialityProvide clear, consistent updates and manage expectations without overpromisingCoordinate with client advocates, paralegals, and investigators to support clients and keep cases movingRequired QualificationsActive Texas bar license, in good standingSubstantial sexual abuse/sexual assault civil litigation experience and at least 5 years of civil litigation experienceStrong legal writing and strategic judgmentHigh integrity, excellent confidentiality discipline, and professional client communicationPreferred QualificationsHas owned a docket of sexual abuse/assault matters to conclusion (settlement and/or verdict)Plaintiff‑side institutional liability / complex tort experienceBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, not requiredE‑filing experience (preferred)How to ApplyPlease submit:ResumeWriting sample (brief/motion/memo)Short note describing your sexual abuse/assault litigation experience (years and your role)Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionLegalIndustriesLaw Practice#J-18808-Ljbffr
