SERVICES SPECIALIST - WARRANTS

SHERIFF & ADULT DETENTION

Responsibilities:

Provides assistance and services to jail detainees, sex offenders, and the general public in a high traffic/high stress law enforcement environment; provides information according to policy and procedure and state laws; enters data; assists with sex offender registration; prepares and files documents; answers multi-line telephone inquiries.

Status:

Full-time, non-exempt, benefited

Working hours:

An 8 or 10-hour shift, work one weekend per month. Shifts start at 3:00 p.m.

Location:

Columbia, Missouri

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and two years of administrative support, customer service, or office management experience including experience with MS Office, data entry, and multi-phone line. Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions in emergency situations.

Position requires a pre-employment drug test and the ability to pass an FBI fingerprint background check. Must have and maintain a valid Missouri drivers license.

Starting Hourly Pay Rate:

$20.50 per hour with shift differential.
