Service Lane Manager

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage service advisors and automotive technicians to ensure smooth service lane operations.
• Set sales targets for income and transaction numbers by labor category and monitor performance.
• Manage monthly financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Distribute repair orders efficiently, prioritize required vehicle services, and ensure timely support for new and used vehicle sales departments.
• Serve as a concierge liaison between technicians and customers, resolving inquiries and fostering positive experiences.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by exceeding service expectations and standardizing follow-up communication.
• Ensure all service transactions are handled correctly by thoroughly training and supervising employees.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by spending quality time and providing attentive service.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Dealership Service Manager with proven leadership skills.
• Intermediate computer proficiency and hands-on experience with dealership CRM systems.
• Manufacturer training and required certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
