    Service Advisor – Acura of Austin North

    Are you an organized, customer-focused communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy dealership service department. As the primary liaison between our customers and technicians, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional service experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet customers promptly and gather detailed information regarding their vehicle concerns and maintenance needs.

    • Translate customer descriptions into clear, actionable work orders for technicians.

    • Provide accurate cost estimates, outline service options, and gain customer approval before work begins.

    • Track vehicle status throughout the day and provide proactive updates to customers.

    • Describe and recommend appropriate maintenance services and repairs based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspection reports.

    • Review completed work orders with customers, explain charges clearly, cashier and process final payments.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Writer, or in a retail automotive customer service role preferred.

    • Strong basic knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance schedules.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of high customer satisfaction (CSI/ACE) scores.

    • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and handle stressful situations with professionalism.

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    • Proficiency with dealership management software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK Drive, or Xtime) is a plus.
